Retreats

Several times throughout the year, we provide day trips outside the garbage village. These are usually visits to parks or monasteries. These trips include spiritual and entertainment programs and a community (“agape”) meal.

We provide one weekend retreat each year for the mentally disabled, deaf and mute, and our chronically ill patients. The retreats are intended to provide entertainment, swimming, academic programs and relaxation. These retreats are the only time our patients stay away from their homes outside the garbage village. 

Every Friday our members are welcome to participate at the Church. We provide transportation for those who wish to come and spend the whole day at the church in fellowship. There is time for spiritual teaching and discussion and relaxation, entertainment, and sports.
